Loan Support Specialist I

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
25%-- Provide prompt and efficient customer service. Respond to customer inquiries in person, by letter, e-mail or phone.
 
40%--Prepare Standard Reports for loans and leases; process loan documentation for approved new, renewed or modified loans.  Demonstrate some working knowledge of the documentation requirements for all routine consumer and noncomplex commercial loan types. Close loan, disburse funds, maintain loan document files and send collateral documents for booking.
 
10%--Prepare correspondence, clear documentation exceptions, mail payment notices, open mail and prepare ledger tickets.  Perform clerical functions such as photocopying, obtaining files, obtaining cashier’s checks, ordering department supplies and other duties as assigned.
 
15%--Schedule meetings and appointments. Complete or oversee completion of reconciliation/certification of bank-controlled accounts for insurance proceeds. Complete other reports and tasks as assigned by management.
 
10% - Safety

• Ensure the Safety & Security of all team members, customers, the Bank, and personally
• Perform your duties in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of other team members
• Maintain situational awareness in your environment and notify management of any unusual activities
• Understand and comply with the Bank’s security policies and procedures
• Complete all assigned monthly information security training with established timeframes and apply those training concepts in the performance of your duties
• Recognize and appropriately handle all suspicious, questionable, or compromising emails whether simulated or real
• Understand and comply with other Bank Policies and Procedures relevant to Safety and Information Security to identify, prevent to detect safety issues that compromise physical security and safety for yourself, team members or the Bank’s customers whether on premises or electronically
