Position: Full-Time Preschool Teacher Assistant

Location: Tieuel & Washington Heights Centers m

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

What You’ll Do:

As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will support the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 3–5. You’ll play a vital role in daily routines, interactive learning activities, and building strong relationships with students and families.

• Assist in implementing lesson plans and hands-on activities

• Foster a warm and respectful learning environment

• Promote social-emotional growth, literacy, and school readiness

• Support with classroom organization, documentation, and safety

• Partner with families and staff to create a community of learning and care

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• NMLES & Quroum ECECD coursework completion

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a group setting preferred
